Hello. Iīm new here. I donīt know if this is the wright place to ask this, but here it goes:

I have a 100x40x65 (220 liters) (half)planted tank, and I think it is about 55 galon is that wright?

I'd like to know how many adult Discus can I keep in this tank? For now I have 4 young (7cm). but I'd like to have more one or two?!
Is there any problem if we have an impar number? like 5... or we should always keep them in pairs like 2 or 4..6?

Thank you.

Id say around 5-7 small juveniles to grow out would be fine, fully grown adults 5 maybe 6 should be ok.

1 discus = 10 gallons water, but you can get away with 6 in a 55 gallon tank just keep it clean with daily water changes.

IF your 220 liter tank contains plants and gravel you don't really have 220 liters of water - probably more like 180 liters. Another consideration is quarantine. You don't want to just add 2 new discus to your existing tank - they could bring in disease that will infect your other discus. I'd jsut grow out the 4 you have. IF you want to get more juveniles I'd start another tank that size or bigger and add 6 or more juveniles (odd numbers aare fine). It is best to raise juveniles in bare bottom tanks.
