Hey, All !

Please tell me how to get the algae out of the far rear corners of my 125-gal tank! I can't reach it by hand, so I use an algae brush with a long handle, but it just won't wipe off. The angle isn't right, I mean I can reach it, but rubbing it isn't effective. I need a triangular or pointed shaped scraper or something. I am about ready to put on a scuba suit and go into the tank myself. LOL

Anyone else have this problem?

You can try affixing a flat 1 1/4" razorblade on the end of a long sturdy plastic ruler. It will scrape it right off. Just be careful with the sharp edge that you don’t cut into the rubber seal holding your tank together. It works for me…

You could try cutting one corner of your scraper to fit better into the corner.

Go to the kitchen or bathroom section and get a long handled scrub brush - like a toilet brush. I use sponges connected to a handle to clean my 135 - I think they are made to clean coffee cups. Baby bottle brushes should work too.
