Hi guys.
I have heard somethings about keeping the lua hon with discus.
Does that mean flower horns can be kept with discus or is there another type of fish that can be kept with discus that is also called lua hon.
Thanks.
Brad.

From my understanding, a luo han or flowerhorn is a very agressive fish.
I've seen a single luo han in a 75 gallon by itself and its mate in another tank next to it. This was at a discus breeder's home in TX, so my guess is that mixing luo han and discus is not a good idea.
But I've never owned a luo han, so I don't know for sure.

Yes they are aggresive and they grow real big. Discus will be a nice meal for them. Heard of others mixing Goldfish and some even mixing with Arowana. Guess they don't treasure their Discus that much, lol.

I agree with everyone else. My dad had Luo Han's all over the house during the "craze" in singapore a couple of years back. He got bit a couple of times during feeding when the darn fish would leap out of the water and nail him on the fingers. I wouldn't do it.
Pardon my ignorance. What is a Lua hon?
