Just generally, the average healthy juvenile.

That's a good question Gene.
Actually what I'd like to see is a Discus growth rate chart in terms of month to month growth, from the time it's a fry to lets say 5 or 6 inches or a for a full.
This of course would be based solely on your average, healthy, well fed and well cared for Discus.

....but JM, ya didnt answer the question, or can it be answered...? Cuz I wonder if one can tell by the size, approximately how old a discus is? I guess not, or you would have said what you thought....So, if my discus from Cary were 2inches, you would not know how old they may or may not be?

Interesting....I'm guessing now that I think about it, knowing your great mind, and as wise as you are, a 2inch discus could be the runt? And never grew but could be a few years....Oh Hell, i just answered it didnt I?

Marie,
I didn't answer the question, because I would like to know also...I did add to the question how ever.
I think we should keep stunted/runt fish out of this question, it would only confuse everything.
