Hi all, I just got my pair to spawn about 2 weeks ago. And at the end I was able to get about 20 to my 10g which now they are feed on BBS. My pair just spawn again yesterday(very nice parent :)). And I think soon I be have another 10-20 sworming on them again. Now I dont have any more tank for holding fry can they be mix in with my old one once they are 12 days old?

Thx for looking
Jack

Just make sure to spread out the food at feed time so little guys are able to eat I think you'll be fine.

If you have craigslist in your area might want to start looking for a larger cheap tank.

After reading what tanks you currently have you might want to think about selling some fish so you have growout tank from existing tank.

You'll be fine for a little while... But, remember the fry will double in size in no time. So soon they'll be overcrowded and you'll have a hard time with water quality.. So do what Greg said and look for another tank...And soon..

The bigger fish will outcompete the younger fish for food . . .

ok I have about 40+ wrigglers again today. And my parent simply wouldn't aloud me to buy any more tank my basement is loaded with all my tank stuff :o can the fry stay with the parent for probably more then 12 days? I would like them to spawn again but damn over crowd with no space for any more tank. :(

Fry can stay with the parents for 21 days - if the parents are in good contition. Fry are chewing on the parents and can damage the slime coat allowing bacteria to colonize which may cause infection in parent.

They can stay wth the parents for up to 4 weeks if the parents will alow it. If they start acting like they want to spawn again be ready to pull the fry out or scrape the new eggs off as soon as there layed. Why do you want them to spawn again when you already don't have room to grow out what you've got? Better to work on raising the ones you have right or it will get too hectic and crowded.
