Theres a guy names Dave C who visit's the board, he is the only one I know who raises Sting Rays that may be able to help you. You may have to wait a bit until he see's your question.

I usually go to flat-fish.com for stingray advice but I see that it has been hacked and is currently down. Try the forum that David recommended and try & get Webber's attention. I don't know what causes the "death curl" but I do know it's not to be ignored. Good luck.

If your ray is going into a death curl, your are pretty much done. No one really knows what puts them into the death curl and only a person or two that I have read about has saved them.
try www.waterwolves.com they have some real ray experts on the board.

Sometimes you can get help with exotics like rays by calling the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and talking to one of their experts. I haven't done this for a few years but they used to be willing to help. Sorry, I don't have contact info.

Try this forum: http://forums.waterwolves.com/index.php?showforum=77
However, they don't call it the 'death curl' for nothing.

The shedd doesn't do that anymore, unfortunately. They must have been getting bombarded on questions. And, of course they are against people keeping things like rays =)

Frank Aguirre of Big Al's Brampton, Canada has been keeping rays for a long time, and gives talks on them at Ontario fish clubs.
BIG AL'S - BRAMPTON 16 KENNEDY ROAD SOUTH BRAMPTON, ONTARIO L6W 3E1 TEL: (905) 454-1174 FAX: (905) 454-1175.
Just don't mention the internet !
And John at Aquascience Research Group answers mail quickly. I think his sister has been involved in some ray reasearch, but in any case one of the researchers may be able to help.
