I am so excited. I have been shopping for a 75 gallon tank for quite some time now (presently have 2 29's) and had decided upon one by AGA with a pine stand and no canopy and was just waiting until I moved into my new apartment (which I started doing yesterday). While the tank I really wanted was the Oceanic with the oak stand and canopy.

Today my boyfriend had me meet him at the aquarium store tonight after work saying he needed some supplies for his 20 gal tank. Well, he surprised me with the Oceanic as my Christmas present and we brought it home to my new apartment....Here it is filling up with water.....

And here it is a little more than half way full and with the canopy on. I have an airstone and heater and will let it sit like that until Saturday morning when I will add the rest of the water from my current tanks, run the filters and heaters for the day and put my eight discus in after I run water tests

Thanks!
I currently have a cobalt female (lays eggs), a red turq and a blue snakeskin (those those three are a little over a year old). Then I have another red turq, two Wadimi (Wattley turq x Angel Diamond) and two German red turq (candy apple scribbles). Those five range in age from about 7 to 10 months.

I also have two German Blue Rams and a few little tropicals I keep with the discus (they eat the little flakes of food the discus won't bother with LOL).

I can't wait to put them all in their new and much bigger home.

Wow, thats a nice tank. Congrats. Your fish will love you for it. Are you going to keep your spawning fish in one of your 29g tanks as a breeder and give it a try? Good luck with your new tank. Post pics when up and going.

Thank you all!

Yes, Marie I was surprised...at the store when he first said we were there for my tank I walked over to the AGA and he said "but not that one" and he walked over to the Oceanic. THAT was the huge surprise.

Then when they were getting ready to put it in the truck he asked if I wanted the 90 gal instead!!!! Of course I did, but I didn't want him to spend any more money-I was already quite overwhelmed. (At least I know down the road I won't have to twist his arm tooo hard when I want a bigger tank LOL. He likes fish tanks.)

Cage, yeah...that new apartment is a little crooked LOL. Oh, wait I was so excited I couldn't hold the camera straight!

Cobaltblue...I may try to raise a batch of babies at some point...the cobalt who lays eggs is very pretty but not as round as I'd like. I have some quality juvies from a breeder I'm hoping will pair up in the new tank.

OK, gonna get ready for work and then go over to the new apartment (haven't fully moved in yet-waiting for the weekend) and I'm gonna fill that tank up some more...then it'll have about 34 hrs to airate before I put the fish in tomorrow night.
