Hi Guys,

Just wondered if you can help me?
I was surfing and looking at some site or other when I came across a great place that showed you how to construct a planted wall. There were some great photos of how it was done using some type of light green fern which was woven into some mesh stuck to the back glass of the tank.
Anyone else seen this?? if so can you point me in the right direction, of have any of you great people done the same thing and can share some info and pics please.

Many thanks

Steve

I've done it with my anubias :). I used one of those black plastic plant nursery trays, the one with the plastic mesh bottoms for drainage (open diamond shape). I then cut the bottom out to the shape I wanted keeping one side of the lip to go on the bottom of my tank. I then used fishing line to secure my anubias to that and then some suction cups to stick it to the back of the aquarium. I'll post some pictures of it later :). (I was able to get a lot more anubias in my tank doing this :)).

I have always been fascinated by this idea. Tina I would love to see pics. I have heard of many different backgrounds, including the use of cork board as the base to attach plants to. There is a post or two in the diy section on using styrofoam as a back ground. I have used suction cups to attach driftwood to the back of my tank which I think is cool.
