I have a 100g tall tank and I got a 300w heat is that enought and I have an XP3 filter is that enought for that size of a tank the heat is only heating thnk at 83 I want it consistant thought the whole tank. what should I do.

I'd say you need another heater, roughly 4 to 5 watts per gallon, so you need 400 to 500 in total, add another 200w at the orther end of the tank. The XP3 will be ok.

Yep, you need another heater. It's a good idea to have two heaters that total the wattage you need. This way, if one overheats, it's less likely to cook your fish. Plus, I like to put one at each end, especially in a bigger tank.

For sure, i got two 300w heaters for my 125g.

see thats what i thought and my 55 works fine with 2 its neevr different always the same every where in the tank I like balanced.
