Not sure on age as it's wild caught.
I bought it from a guy 25 miles away from where I live over here in the UK.

nice piece there... the 'lines' r all right up to the tail.

here r mine.

but the 'lines' only reach halfway....they r all 3-3.5 inches in body length

Nice shaped fish!
How long have they been in your tank?
Heckels take longer to settle and show their best colours.
Your fish seem to have a red base colour,do you now where they where caught?
Are the fish in the background Tefe Greens?

those pics r taken less than a week in my tank. had them for 8 wks.

but to my knowledge, the fish has already been quarantined for a mnth before i got them. i think its from brazil... not sure where exactly though

yes, it has reddish back ground n the 'bar' is starting to show up more esp when hungry! i find my heckels have a better body shape than my greens.

those at the back r peruvian greens.... have 9 of them
