Hi all,
I know there has been many useful discussions about epsom salt but I have a question still. The bag I bought from the drug store says

"epsom salt, Magnesium sulfate USP, not for oral use, bath salt".

Now I am wondering if this one would be harmful to my fish and there is another kind epsom salt in the market. Does anybody know the answer?
Also, if there is no problems with my fish, should I still use it once a while...

thank you!!

As long as it is pure MgSO4+7H2O it's fine. Just don't drink it.

...unless you're constipated.

only use it if your fish appear bloated, dark in color and shimmying or tilted.

Some people add a small amount to their beefheart to aid digestion. Beefheart is said to be a colon clogger.

I have a 6 pound bag of Swan epson salt. Says "Magnesium sulfate USP" but mine has directions for making a drink to use a a laxative, bath or wraps.
What kind is yours and how old is it?
I work for Costco Wholesale and got mine there for $2.55 a 6 pound bag :)
LOL Shin!!!
