Is there a proportion system to define the perfect Duscus? Let me explain myself, reading the "what not to buy" threads, I think most of us agree that a bumerang shaped-bumped head fish is not a good candidate for one of our tanks. But is there a true rule that defines the perfect proportions of what a discus should look like, something D'vinci like. For example: The eyes should be so many times smaller than the size of body, and so and so for the rest of characteristics like fins, proportion of colors, size of mouth and head, length of pectoral fins, etc. Maybe a diagram could be very helpful for those of us searching for the perfect discus, something like a "Discus of Vitrubius".
