Wow!! Gorgeous tank!!! Did you make your own background?

Background is a plastic tape-on, called "Rocky" I believe. pretty good for a tape on scenic. Forgot to add, this is a low tech tank, no CO2, regular flourescents, 120w. It does sit near an East facing window.

Looks very natural, very nice.

The window is the problem. I had a 45gal near an East patio door and always had beard and thread algae.
Manual removal or keeps the curtains/shades drawn.

Wet Pet, they came from Dan at Gulf Coast discus, some starter fish he sold me to try my hand at them, Thankyou Dan! The algae is pretty much gone now, only a little left. Thank you Dissident for the advice.

Thanks Jarrod, I love my tank!
Marie, those two are doing the Dance, cleaning the right hand part of the driftwood, and giving all the others a hard time! I have no breeder tank for them, its housing some juvies right now.

Diskboy, you got it! I stand on a step ladder and reach!. I have the extra large siphon, added another 10 ft of tubing, run it out the window to the flowers. The BNs take care of the glass, I haven't had to scrub in a long time now.

i have to use my moms step ladder some times to reach the bottom of my 55 and even that gives me trouble in the cleaning part of the week
