We have a tank of 11 discus. All but two are wild. The wild adult is getting pushed around (even by the smaller subadults). He is also not eating as much as the rest
Should we separate him? If we move him shouldn't he be with other discus?

What size tank do you have? I'm thinking 100gal. If so, is it 6 feet long? That seems like alot of room for 11 discus and with that many discus, the aggression ought to be spread around. Any sign of pairing off?

It is a 6' long (70 gallon tank). I should note not all are adults (2 are fully grown, two runts and the rest are subadults). There are two Marlboroughs which have paired off and are to be separated (soon)

Generally, if you have something in the tank like sponge filters, cones, etc., something to segment the length of the tank, aggression is cut down some. As the discus matures, they tend to relate to a structure of some sort and hang around it.
