Pre filter sponge for eheim 2213

I have the Eheim Classic external canister 2213 filter. I was wondering what pre filter sponge would fit on it? Here is the filter I have:

As I recall the 2213 and 2215 come with the small diameter syphon tube and strainer. You may be able to use the prefilter sponges Eheim makes for the 2229 if you leave the strainer on - otherwise it would just slip off..

Your safest bet may be to call John at Jehmco and ask him if theres a Hydro Max prefilter sponge that would slip snuggly onto that tube..

i have the same filter and i got my prefilter off of ebay(dirt cheap)it is max 3 pre filter by ati. it has a bunch of different adapters in the box. hope that helps
