My FINISHED 90 gallon with plants

Well, after some moving around, acquiring some new plants and lights, I am finished the tank (unless of course, some plants decide they don't like their new home;) ) Left side of tank has cabomba, red ludwigia, onion plant, sword plant. Big piece of driftwood has anubias and java ferns attached.

Middle of tank has java fern attached to wood and a large bolbitis fern attached to a rock (cool looking plant). Right side has some more swords, some crypts and another red ludwigia.

Substrate on both sides is about 2" thick and banks down. The middle of the tank has a skim coat of sand. I'm doing water changes daily of about 30% and vacuum the middle and hover over the plants areas.

So far, so good. Fish are happy, snails are happy, and the plants seem happy.

They came from a great breeder (Barb Newell). I just fed them and changed their water.;)

Actually, I don't realize how much they've grown till hubby comes home on the weekend and sees them for the first time. You live with them everyday and then someone who doesn't, will see the difference.

Thank you everyone. I'm glad you like my setup. Thanks Larry, pic #4 is of Spike, he's the bossy one (or may be a she ~ I don't know?).

And yes, that is a fork in there. Holding some zuchinni which was SUPPOSED to be for the plecos but the snails converged on it and the plecos couldn't get in!

And Marie, the settings are ...... I have no idea?! I just point and shoot with my Canon. Getting a bit more confidence with picture taking. I like you can delete (and I delete a lot!!).

That Bolobitus fern is way cool. Did you order it off the net or did you buy it at a LFS? and it will look great once the sides of the tank fill in. ^_^

I ordered from a guy over in Vancouver. I've got a bit in another tank too so shall see how it fares.

I have never seen this in the LFS. They just have your basics here, java fern, swords, nothing different. Isn't the Internet great for this?!

Love your angels!!! I used to breed gold/black marble angels.
Makes me want to convert over to planted, but I don't feel ready yet.
