Hey Guys ~


I have new pictures of my rams in my semi-planted rock sanded discus tank! I have redone this entire tank ~ Barb ~ Candy ~ Frank ~ thank you guys for all your imput!

I have never loved it more ~ I am def hooked on rock building little caves and secret spots! I love it! Then I sit forever and take pics of these lil guys!

Kenny I cld never thank you for all that you do for me ~ but these Rams I adore! I saw in my mag from Dr. Fosters/Smith I think... German Rams $9.99 a piece!! I couldnt believe it!! AND ~ they were not as K00L as mine are with that peri-winkle color I so love ~


I love these guys and their lil caves too!

They look gorgeous and lovely Marie under your TLC...and have grown a lot too. Have they paired up yet? I think you might have missed some eggs here & there...they are bottom layers so you know where to look for eggs.

You're welcome, anytime. When you get some babies(lol) keep me in mind as I might need to get some breeding stock back from you in the future Marie. I'm in the process of selling most of my rams breeders & babies to make room for upcoming discus frys.

Just beautiful Marie, I love the whole tank. My rams have a bunch of babies in a bare bottom tank. Easier to take care of but your tank makes me wonder....

Nice rams, Marie! I have three in quarantine...hope to put them in with my discus soon. They were all colorful in the lfs but now two of them are kind of washed out. Do you find that the dominant fish tends to be colorful at the expense of the others? All of yours are brilliantly colored in the pics except the next-to-the-last, where the foreground fish looks a bit pale.

Hi Jeckel - their overall color(head color included) change all the time depending on their current mood, and healthiness of course.

I actually am very impressed! You did an excellent job of aquascaping, the rocks look quite natural in their postions and you placed the plants perfectly. I did have to download and enlarge it to see all that though :-p

Thang ~ I clean my tank ~ well....i do wc every other day for sure! And more major house cleaning on weekends ~ it must be crystal clear/clean for me ~

Steve ~ thank you! Before I just had lots of plants in there ~ but I am setting up a African Cichild tank too so I had some rocks and added them in this 55gal with the rams and omg steve...! They are soooooooo dif as they are my peri-winkle color and i made little caves ~ they love it! they all come out everywhere now!! Best move I did!

I just fed them the usual: pellets, FBW, CBW, etc...just the usual.

Al knows how to get them to grow BIG way better than me though...

Beautiful rams. There colors so nice. I think my dark stone is shading some of there color because my blue doesn't show to well. I love your sand tank nicly set up.
