PH question?

I do 50% water Chang every day strait from my tap, because I don't have room at the moment to store and age water in a barrel (trying to make room). My problem is the water strait from the tap has a PH of 7.6-8.0 and the water in my tank after 24 hours has a PH of 7.0-7.2. I have not seen any negative affects on my fish yet.I have read that PH swing up/down are not good for the fish.
Will this stress my fish out over time?
Any ideas or comments are greatly welcome

Jesse, yes this will stress your fish over time. Find a way to age your WC water before you do a change. HTH
