So here is it folks ~

I wasn't sure where to post these as this isn't my tank obviously ~ Deb is one of Al's Moderators at Sd's sister site Simply Cichlids and a dear friend as well ~ I was invited over recently for lunch of homemade SUSHI if you can believe that one! It was awesome Deb! And of course I brought my camera and took some pictures for her ~ these pictures do not do these tanks justice ~ not at all!

Deb will pop by and explain the plants and fish ~ she promised:) Enjoy ~ talk about jealous! Wow ~

I have never seen a planted tank so green and beautiful as this!

This pile of Moss was the only plant I have ever fell totally in love with! So Deb gave me some! It looked as tho it contained lil crystal balls ~ but they were water bubbles! Very K00L ~

And of course Ms. Splotches 'new' home! She loves it! Yo Frank...See?

I forget what this creature is but we got it on one of our fish shopping sprees. Pleco? He is HUGE!

This tank smacks you in your face upon entering into Deb & Daves bedroom! Beautiful ~ This is the one that I am copying my African Cichlid tank after! SO K00L guys im tellin ya! The gravel was sparkling black and the quartz stones in there as well ( which Deb is giving me some and the gravel too) Never have I see stones so pretty WITH moss and alage growing on them ~ just perfect!http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f389/MidnightKiss4u/IMG_5817Small.jpg

This tank was very nice as well ~ I have no clue what they were but I think these fish spawned shortly after I left ~ great pic ya think? I loved these fish!
http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f389/MidnightKiss4u/IMG_5779Small.jpg

Now....The fish I shall never possess ~ Fontosas! This tank takes your breath away when you first entered Deb's home ~ make no mistake ~ it is HUGE and so beautiful ~ the sand the fish ~ and then the school of whites one ~ i dont recall what they were ~ and all follow you everywhere! I never wanted to move again! They look as tho they are swimming on the bottom but in reality they are no where near the bottom! This tank is so DEEP! The rock wall you see was spectacular IMO ~ There wasn't much to this tank but was absolutely breathtaking with minimal deco~ NuNu is now living here as well ~

And finally this tank was a beauty as well ~ antiquish in style and I forget the fish in it but the rocks are huge! I asked deb how in the world they ever got them home! HUGE! It is an old tank and acrylic so not as clear ~

I am here Marie...had to eat dinner first. Glad you liked the sushi Thanks for the compliments guys. So Marie had made me promise to give the details on the fish, so here goes...

The first one is an 80 gallon discus planted tank. No discus at the moment, I had a yeast reactor in it and the puppy knocked it over killing all the wild caught discus in it...I was heart broken 4 of them I had just gotten a week before. I will get more soon.

That plant is rotalia indica, grows well with bright light.

The "moss" that Marie likes so much is actually algae Cladophora
aegagropila. It really does look nice and grows easily.

The pleco is L264 aka sultan pleco.

The little one that Marie thought was a rubber toy is an albino bushy nose pleco, they were so tiny when I got them.

The next tank is a tropheus tank, 80 gallons with tropheus sp red lunangwa. I let the algae grow on the rocks because tropheus are vegetarians and they graze all day long, and their many babies eat it off the rocks too.

The next one is a 55 gallon with assorted Tanganyikans in it the one with the yellaw head is cyprochromis leptosoma jumbo tricolor. That is not the fish that spawned, it was Neolamprologus buscheri.. I got a pic of the fry Marie! It is so tiny, look just to the right of the Mom
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v295/Debbiekrisc/fish/fry1.jpg

The frontosa tank is 180 gallons and there are 16 F1 Kapampa babies in it, along with the "white fish" that are 6 enantiopus sp kilsea. Also not in the picture are 6 Spathodus erythrodon and nunu. Marie nunu is driving the enantiopus crazy...every time they dig a spawning pit he comes along and wrecks it!

The last one is 150 gallons and houses various Tanganyikans also.

It is amazing the things we can survive yes ~ only to come out in the end stronger because of it ~ you have been thru a lot ~ lately ~

And now we are going fish shopping this week:D

This was funny cuz at first I thought ...umm...Deb ....you are trippin ~ but then I SEE it! it is smaller than 'buzz' my Bumble Bee Goby Deb! I saw this baby fish in person and it was too cute for words! I told you you cld do it Deb!
