Does anyone know where i can get some nice silk plants at a good price?
I'm looking for small and large ones.

Also, do you think Michael's silk plants are safe for the aquarium?

OR,
would you recommend buying live plants? The problem with this is that I only have my 30w lights on for about 6 hours a day and its for a 55g tank. The tank is 12" deep.

Any info will be great.

Thanks
Dany

I have the same problem...
I really wanted to buy real plants but that would require more lighting...
So i went with silk plants...

On another forum I heard of someone growing plants in this condition, however, she mentioned that the plant has to be like 10" so that it will reach the light... she had wisteria vals and others...java moss and fern...

I dont know how that would do... I havent tried...It worked of her tho...even tho others say it cant be done...

I what i have read and from what i have heard i would try to get like 1.5 wpg the least..2 is better however then co2 would be necessary of ant wpg higher
