I had 3 Bolivian Rams in my tank. One pair, and a loner male. My neice, a potter, is making me a ceramic condo for them, so I have been looking for 3 more.
Today I got 2 females and 1 male. They are about one third the size of the older ones. When I released them in my tank, the three went to the lowest part of the gravel and crowded together. One male came out from behind the driftwood and watched them for a bit before approaching. Then the female came out and the two kinda "herded" the babies amongst them. They look like a duck family, daddy in front, the babies following, and mommy bringing up the rear. Even the loner male is now joining in. They keep doing a "tour" of the tank.
They are so funny!!!! And I was worried they would get picked on by the older group!!
