I always have run Magnums on my Discus breeder tanks. I have some Angel Superveils and veils from Cary like the ones Beth got. I'm about to fihish my breeding room and plan to put the Angel pairs in 20 highs. Is a Magnum a good idea on these tanks or would it be too much current for these long finned guys?

Liz,
I would think that in a high 20 the HOT would be too much current for your pairs.

I had that feeling, Tad. Thanks.

Liz,
Yea i agree with Tad.. it might be a bit much for a 20H. Especially since there is no flow control valve.

Liz,

Superveils usually have a hard time swimming because of the really exaggerated finnage. This is the downside to long-finned angels. They seem to struggle at times. I would keep the current as low as possible. With my pairs in 20H tanks, I just keep a heater and a sponge filter.
