Sometimes when I go to a thread ....I shld see the newest post first....but I am seeing the very first post when the thread was taken out. Tell me that makes sense? I have my settings all correct ~ I do not understand why it is happening ~ Anyone else experiencing this?

It does not happen all the time only with certain threads for some reason~

Marie,

Just a thought, but it can be something t odo with the cookies setting. Hope a mod answers, I remember seeing this problem addressed before and it having to do with this. They answered how to fix it.
Since I got Norton Insternet Security and a few addons I ahave ALOT of problems with my cookies being cleaned up and having to start HUGE threads from #1 again. I still havent bothered to figure out why, or how to fix it. Some threads stay ok. Go figure.

It is a login/sessions/cookie issue. It's how the forum software is written. There's not much I can really do about it unless vBulletin decides to fix it.

Larry's answer would be the same as mine, which is why I didn't reply. I'm not having any issues at work or at home with this, so I'm assuming it's an issue somewhere between your ISP and our web server. It happens sometimes.

Im just wondering why you would rather read threads backwards??

That would confuse the heck out of me.

If its a long thread ..... i just click on the last page and look at the dates and time to see what was added since i was last on.

This is one of the easiest forums ive been to ... to keep up to date on....... and i especially love the NEW POSTS button!

Same here!! Sometimes I like to read all of the posts from beginning to end Discus KC and Kenny's fish-room thread even though I've read them at least 5 times each. As a matter of fact this should be encourage since less questions would be repeated especially from newcomers that like to post on really old threads with out reading through them and you get to read some stuff that you may have missed!!
