Well it looks like my reef tank may be just a memory. I have a terrible aptaisia problem and can't find a Copperband Butterfly to help out. Now I am really thinking about taking it down and doing a 125 Discus tank. If anyone is near Memphis, TN that has Discus to sell let me know. Or if you have a reef tank and want to trade for Discus let me know.

Forget the copperband as aiptasia control, there is no guarantee that if it survives the Qt it will eat the aiptasia, chances are that once it discovers that there is a free daily buffet it won't go after the aiptasia, but will probably damagee the coral polyps and clams:mad: . Try nuking the aiptasia using a syringe with either hot water or a kalkwasser solution. You can also try a colony of peppermint shrimp

BTW, I would get rid of the reef and get going with discus;) :D . If you seriously lost interest in the reef tank maybe its time to take a step back and regroup
