I see the discus at the LFS have very small pinholes all over their heads. these are almost the size of their nostrils but are randomly spotted all over the head. I've never seen this before, what is it?

Thanks Ryan, right after I posted I looked up HITH and that's what it looks like on the pet shop fish. I was always assuming HITH was large pussie holes with worms coming out. Now I know better.

Most fish will have some small pinholes on their heads. Discus is going to have the same. These are sensors and they are not randomly spotted.

So, two key things for normal fish:
1. Not too many of them, 2 Not randomly spotted.
