What do you think of this wood?

I know it isn't much, but it is mine!

So this is the start of the scaping for the planted discus. The piece that is on the right side is there right now because it is floating a bit. The store didn't have anymore pieces but I hope to go back mid week to see if they got another shimpment - or else find wood that is of similar look. My plan is to buy some smaller pieces to make it look like roots have grown in and then back out...but we will see what I can find!

PS - the tank is not that bright...I haven't figured out the camera settings yet :D

Nice piece of wood are you going to add plants also? If so keep us updated Ed

Definately going to do the plant thing. We are planning on tall grassy plants (hopefully an onion plant or two), and some short. The problem is finding plants here that aren't full of algae or need to be cut back to nothing to find a healthy leaf. I also hope to find the plants that can handle the 86 temps rather than the usual 82 so we don't stress them out going above the 82.

I will post more pics along the way.

Loads of potential! A little moss, some anubias or java fern, it'll be great!
