Hi,

I am awaiting my tank to finish cycling. I heard that you should add a teaspoon of salt per 10 gallons. I heard that is a good idea when acclimating Discus. I heard morton makes a salt you should use for this method with the water softener salt. I heard one nugget is about a teaspoon. Do I just drop them in and let them dissolve? Or should I throw them in a bucket and wait for them to dissolve and then pour in the bucket?

Is this the right salt to use?

Or is it this one?

I heard they make some that are not right to use in the other color bags. The one at the link above says MortonŽ System SaverŽ II Pellets. Is there a MortonŽ System SaverŽ Pellets both are in a yellow bag. I just want to make sure I pick up the right one. Thanks for your time.
