what is the difference between lss and spotted snakeskins

Just reading trophy discus on page 93, it shows you how to develop LSS. It shows a combination of what you might get. one of the variety is spotted snakeskins, what is the difference between lss and spotted snakeskins?

lss are considered the highest grade, they have the web type ss pattern whereas spotted snakes are normal lined ss.
