I just did a 40% water change on my tank, and I will be doing another 40% water change tomorrow on my 75 gallon tank. I'm doing my first water change after a completed fishless cycle. My question is while I was doing a water change I didn't notice it but I flooded my sump and bio balls. The sump filled up 75% Is that going to create an issue? I didn't notice that water started siphoning back into the sump for a couple of minutes. I hope I didn't screw up the media growing in there. Please let me know!

Thanks,

Todd

No problem. You could actually dump all the bioballs into the bottom of the sump, fill it with water, and run the filter that way and it would work fine. You just wouldn't have the advantages that a trickle filter gives you.

You won't have any problems at all.
