Hello all,
I have finally got my first 4 discus, two browns and two Red Turqs, all are 2.5-3" i have had them in QT for the last 20 days. Now i have them in a 100litre tank with 7 black neons and a few corys for company - dont worry i dont intend to leave all four in that size tank :) Im looking moving them to a 300litre tank soon for when they have grown a little bit.
Although they dont actually 'attack' each other, the slightly larger red turq and the slightly larger brown are always right up beside each other, fins out, and this is also the same with the two smaller fish. What are they doing?! staking a claim to the territory? surely they are far too small to start thikning about pairing up?
