Does anyone know where there is a good source on the net to get a chart like poster or picture of all the different names of discus and there colors. I keep reading about so many that now I am very confused.

thank you,

Ted

There are so many different names for discus these days because everyone wants to sell the newest thing or create the newest thing. I thought Cary had a good grasp on down to earth explanations on his website in the galleries.

I wish people would just say what the strain is and not make up some marketing name to try and sell some NEW strain. This will also help people with a little bit of the genetic make up of what there fish are. IMO

I have a section on my discus site covering some of the more common strains. It's in the "strains and types" section.

Hope that helps.

Walter,
Your website is very informative.
Keep up the good work!
I was wondering if the Southern Discus workshop is an annual event?
The info on it made me wanna attend!
It would be great to find one in northeast, but Georgia isn't out of the question either!

20 years and the debate still goes on.........

I think some people are having a secret contest to see who can be the first to breach double digit naming convention:

Super ultra sunflower turquoise blushing half blue red spotted diamond snakeskin!!!!!!!!
