How often do you clean your sponge filter?

I give mine a bit of a rince out in siphoned tank water bout once a fortnight:)

We are able to clean our sponges in the sink with tap water....so once a week every sponge gets cleaned as good as it can get.

Thanks everyone, I was just worried that if I clean it too much that I would cause the tank to go through another cylce.
