I am about to do another test of my PH stability from the tap and a question came to mind. I just threw an airstone in the bucket and I have no heater for it at this time. Will that make it unable to age the water....or does it not matter if it's heated or not? Please let me know!

Thanks!

Todd

Well, it will drive any CO2 out but if the difference in temp between the aged water and tank is too great you may shock your fish.

This isn't for actual tank water, It's just for testing my PH stability.

The water will "age" without heat but you do need to bring it up to tank temp before ucing for WC. Don T.

Oh, then you should be fine. Temp also seems to help drive out the CO2 but for your test, it should be fine.
sorry for the misunderstanding. :D
