I have alot of Dolomite substrate left over from my other Freshwater tank. Can I use them on Discus tank? Currently its barebottom and my Discus are seeing their own reflections on the tank bottom.

With the Dolomite my other freshwater Endler's tank PH is about 6.4.

I would not use dolomite as substrate in a discus tank. Dolomite is a calcium-magnesium carbonate rock. Which will, over time raise both pH and kH of freshwater. The only time you want to add dolomite gravel to a tank, is when you want permanently high hardness, high pH conditions in the tank. Which would suit african cichlids, but not discus.

Thanks for important info. I'll skip the dolomite.
