scared discus

gm all i have a planted tank no co2 and recently developing an alge problem also my fish seem to be hiding alot more than ever any sugestions i'm in new york rockland co area

What are your water parameters? How often do you change the water? How much CO2 are you running? How many discus?

It is difficult to prevent accumulations of waste products in planted tanks and this can cause discus to act flighty. I would hydrovac the substrate as well as you can and step up the water changes in both frequency and volume.
