I'm sorry I posted this in the wrong section. I did not see an option to delete it.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 2?

I've never used either but the tap water filter seems as though it would do a great job without the need of a storage tank.

Thanks

The tap water filter will only remove chlorine and a few other things. You might still need to age the water. we age water to gas off CO2 and to put O2 in the water and to heat it..
The RO will remove just about everything. it makes near 0 TDS water and is used mostly for breeding to increase hatch rates. this water needs to be mixed to put minerals back in the water. The Ro will waste alot of water..
