New Discus arrived this morning

[Diamond Discus]

I'm so excited! I received 2 beautiful shipments of Discus mid morning today; 6 Snake Skin Pigeons from Central Ohio Discus (Mike Beals), and 6 High Body Checkerboard Turqs from Gulf Coast Discus (Dan Villasenor). The beauty and quality of both shipment has me overwhelmed. As soon as they settle in I'll take pictures for you guys. I am laughing as I type "as soon as they settle in" because the PB's are swimming up and down at the front of the glass begging for food and the HBCT's are cruising the tank and already sparring to see who will be the boss.

Thanks!! I'm a clean freak so Discus are the perfect fish for me. These two groups each got their own new hose and new aging barrels too. I disinfected the powerheads and heaters for each. This is going to be a hard first 8 weeks keeping everything separate. LOL

Thanks, they are big too; around 4.5 inches. They should be thinking about pairing by fall or early winter hopefully.


Dan's right, Sue! I never used a flash....they are nice though and wow!!........so clean!!Thanks Marie. I didn't have their tank light on, and it's pretty dark in there. I'll take more pictures without flash when they are comfy in their tank and I start running the tank lighting.
