Who Feeds Live Blackworms??

Quick poll to see who feeds them and if its expense that prevents you from it.

I used to feed them. If you can get them in good condition they're great. More often than not mine arrived in poor condition and took over a week of rinsing off the dead ones before I could feed them. Not worth the disease risk IMO.

Like Liz, I used to feed them, but after an incident of a bunch of my discus becoming sick I went off them. Not worth the risk, and FBW are more convienent for us lazy types anyway. ;)

I'm with you but the FBW has the casing problem where discus could have the worm casing stuck in their gut and get sick too. A local store sells super clean ones but its also a huge expense. I feed flakes, FBW, Beefheart mix and the worms for now, the small discus I have benefit most.
