Hi all. Have a little update w/pics. I concluded there wasn't enough filtration w/these guys because its a 55gal. w/6 juvies and i am slacking on w/c's. So i added another hob aquaclear filter. Its only the smallest one they have but i am not buying another filter seeing i will be putting up my 150gal. hopefully by next weekend. I plan on putting all the fish together, but i am not totally sure about the alenqers yet.
These guys seemed unhappy to me so that is why i added a "Little" more filtration. Seems to help.... anyway here r the fish as of 7am this morn.

Its real hard getting a good pic w/o shadows or glare because of the setup. I tried to get them to the top but "not"! They have cut down eating quite a bit but i think there appatites r gonna come back. I no they will still grow, but i am anxious to see this. I want to see what they look like when they r adults.:o Oh, btw, that heater u see is not in the tank. Its in the back on the stand. The water was getting tooo hot so i took it out. I have been having heater probs lately, but now, keeping fingers crossed, everything is evening out. Thanks for the look!

Eileen, they look wonderful. You are doing a great job growing them out.

thanks adrian. It sure is alot of work and food. I have a feeling it will all be worth it in the end. I can just imagine what people do w/ a fishroom. wow:confused:

They are lovely and I am sure you are proud. I think you will be happy with them. Oh and I am sure it's only a matter of time untill you get the fishroom.;) Just think gadgets.:D

Eileen,
They do look very good...and they are growing well from your care.:) One thing I think you may want to try working on is the lighting and background....If you set that tank up with a light colored background it may help with the photos and will really bring out the colors more.
