It looks like a DIY canister as you can see the pump is externally mounted on the top.

It looks like an eheim 2260 or a 2262 to me...I am looking to buy one when I get some money.

Looks indeed like a 2260, but without the hood.

Yeah, it looks like one of the older big eheims without the hood / shroud. They have just recently been superceded by the 2080 and similar eheims for large tank filtration I believe.
