If you want to be found by other hobbyists in your area you can list yourself and contact info here....This section will be state by state for the USA. If you want to start a thread please check to see if its already started ... If you start a Location Thread.. please follow the standard of Country First, then state or province etc.

Spoke to Eric recently and he's looking forward to getting back into discus, though not as a huge operation anymore. There aren't to many folks breeding down this way, more down towards GA or elsewhere.

I am glad to say I am getting ready to start over and set up the hatchery again...on a smaller scale so I can enjoy it. Will be working with some strains I want to put some time into....20+ tanks or so.
If I can ever help please dont hesitate to ask..the website is still up if you wanted to see some of the fish i was working with.... http://carolinadiscus.com/Home_Page.php

Long time no see Eric! Good to hear from you. I still have a few of those Blue Sapphires, and Checkerboards I got from you years ago. In fact, they are the only domestic discus I have left. Everything else is wild caught.

Great to hear from you....good to know there are still some of the fry from the blue sapphires around!!!! been talking with my sources for the Asian lines I worked with and they will be hand picking some fish for breeding stock for me...hopefully we can get somthing going for group buys, etc....
post some pices if you can....
Pontiac...yep Darrells came from some of the pairs posted.....love the PW's buy the way...great RT strain, reminds me of the old schmidt focke #5...nice.

Hi everyone this Jerry from Greensboro, been keeping 2 discus for 3 years in a 40 gallon, the 2 in my avatar, also starting up a 75 gallon and after cycled, going to get some discus from kennys... we have good water here for discus, it is soft and the PH is not to bad

I am Denise from Asheville and got interested in Discus about a year ago. In Nov. I purchased from a reputable breeder in CA and got 3 four inch size gorgeous raflessias. I am now wanting to purchase some exceptional white butterflies and I am looking for the type that has a white body and orange face and fins. Hoping to be breeding a few discus of my own in another year.
