For everyone in Pennsylvania... to give them a way to connect with fellow enthusiasts, breeders, experts...help each other, maybe form a club or two, buy, sell, trade and so on. It's pretty open ended.

I do see that there are a lot of folks that I've met not listed here, so hopefully we can get more people posting to this thread and start talking.

Hi, I'm Jim. While I live in Chester county near the MD/DE/PA border (the wedge) I have family in 'Lepnun' and Dauphin counties and get up there all the time. Had discus on and off for about 10 years starting back in the early Marc Weiss years (early '90's?) currently keep a heavily planted 110 and a couple of 30's.

Hi everyone, I'm here in Chambersburg,Pa. 17202
I was just telling my wife the other day it would be nice to find other discus enthusiests in the area to talk to. I have kept discus back in the 80's with moderate success. But back in those days I moved around alot and that made it hard on the fish. So nearly 30 years later I decided to set up a planted discus tank again and I am loving every minute of it. Hey, ynot right?

Hello, I would like to let everyone know that there is a new discus group in the US. MADA is a group that has been discussed a lot and now moving forward with it. We are based in the Mid- Atlantic region of the US and just a bunch of discus keepers who wish to get together and talk/ share our experiences with other discus keepers over food/ drinks. By no means am I trying to take away from other local fish clubs but think it would be cool to have a group of people who are into Discus. We would work beside ALL clubs to help both of our clubs grow together and spread our passion for fish/ plants across the Mid Atlantic. This group would meet at different peoples houses across the area for our socials and meetings.
