how many scrubbies???

Ok, i bought a bunch of scrubbies. 120 of them actually. My ? is, do i add anything else w/this, like some biomax or whatever? I have biomax from my current filters that i could use if need be. Will the scrubbies be enough?

They will be enough:) .....in comparsion I use 720 on 5000gallons, with 15- 24''>31'' koi eating about a 1/2 pound of pellets per day...............

ok, my son said to mix the bio max w/the scrubbies. That is no necessary i take it. I have my 5gal bucket i plan on using in my sump. I then will be putting scrubbies, and filter floss as a prefilter. What do u think graham?

a scrubbie is those nylon things u use to scrub teflon or non stick pans
