Sanfrancisco beefheart, My fish eat it but not very willingly!.There are alot of fatty deposits on their cubes!. Ive recently started a bb grow out tank and have never done that before. After they get done eating there are so many chunks of fat from just one cube of bh. I'd recomend preparing it yourself!.There are alot of great recipes for a bh treat!.

I would agree Joe, i tried it once mainly for ease of use and they picked at it, but they definitely go crazy over my home prepared stuff. At the end of the day though, the SF Beefheart cubes still were cubes of soggy mess on the bottom of the tank.

I can get 4 POUNDS of beefheart from walmart for close to the same price as a pack or 2 of SF brand beefheart cubes.

I take a cutting board and meat cleaver, and cut up the cubes while they are still frozen into bite sized pieces. Easy, and the little ones can eat it much better.
