I personally have 2 of them and have installed many more. I personally attest to the quality of Sweetwater airpumps. Aquatic Eco Systems has an awesome product that is extremely reliable. You wont be disappointed.

Just another note for half the money, here is another pump for half the price,it is a very good price for the pump.Dont let the name fool you they are made from Danner industries.Excellent pump and they do kick out the air==== http://www.kensfish.com/largeairpumps.html
I have dealt with sweetwater pumps and the AV pumps, for the money I have to go for the AV pumps,IMO the best deal out there for the money.Reliable good pumps.

Are the sweetwater pumps true floating piston pumps? How do they compare to Medo pumps? Outdoor housing on them?

Thank you Francis! They are true linear piston and have a comparable performance to the medo, but it seems they use more watts than them:confused:
I know what you mean, it's kinda hard to find parts here too, fortunately we are US commonwealth and can order with relative ease from the mainland:)
