i have 3 - 2" juvi berlin blue turqs... mixed in with some larger juvi's 3"-5" ie 3" BD's, 6"LSS, 3" alenquer's, 4" checkerboard in a 55 gal bare bottom tank ... 9 fish total .
i know there is a thread about larger discus stunting smaller ones but at what point do you know for sure that you may have a stunted fish?
i have only had these fish for 5 weeks now and some of them i can def. see some growth and color change's. but some of the small 2" juvi's turq's i have dont seem to me to be growing at the rate of the larger ones in the tank.... ( they all eat like pig's ) so i know food is not an issue . every other day WC's of 65-75 % , mixed diet of frozen bloodworms , pellets, flake, FBS ,blackworms , 4-5 X a day .
could this be because i keep staring at the tank/fish waiting for them to grow overnight . or is just to soon at 5 weeks to tell if they are falling behind because of the larger tank mate's ?
