Anyone for some blurry picture identification? :)

So I've got two culls that I'm planning to use for acclimation in QT tanks, but I've had trouble identifying them. When I originally received them, they were at about $10 a fish from a gentleman who was heading away from discus and towards Arowanas.. He did not know the types of the fish he purchased. I've identified all of the others I received from him, but I am beginning to think that due to the color patterns they may be wilds...

Any thoughts? Fish are at least 3 months, probably not more than 4-5. I understand they will never be show discus, but I've decided to use them like a spare heater, there in case you need 'em...


Pic 1 I looks more to me like a Blue than anything...
Pic 2 I think might be a brown?

Hi Lee...I agree...looks like a brown based fish(Alenquer or Santeram)...or wild or F1....I beleive brown and blue Discus are now considered the same, just one having more stripes than the other...Bill

Thanks again Bill.... looks like I need more tanks, I don't want these guys having to live with the blue crystals and other domestics I have!
