Here is the PVC overflow that I found online. I constructed mine by just looking at the pics. Mine has been running for three days and many times I have unpuged the pump as if the power went out. It takes about a minute but the overflow stops. After plugging the pump back in about a minute later the water begins to flow again. I love it. No gurgling sounds either!! I have not built a return for the pump yet. When i do i will make sure to drill a little hole on one of the elbows to break the vacuum so it does not drain back into my w/d filter. This is the site I found with plans http://www.aquariumlife.net/projects/diy-overflow/12.asp
