Sponge filter from angelplus (square looking ones)

ok, i love you guys to death, specially your BH flakes :D but i have to make people aware about the sponge filter...its isnt well made, the sponge easily comes off from the tile...3 out of 4 of mine failed me...and the last one that hasnt failed me is, well, not yet used.... i think this type of filter would work better for raising fries but for someone like me that does daily WC and regular sponge squeezing, your sponge filter is such a waste of plastic. sorry :D:D

What about putting a few dabs of that caulking that you use to seal up tanks at the tile and some on sponge im sure it will never come off after that.. easy fix no??

If the silicone doesn't work out, try getting some Poret foam and make your own. You can even buy the pre-made one. Same principle, lift tub and 4x4 tile.
