hey guys, just wondering, how can u tell if the discus is stunted???

what u think of this guys i got three days ago??? are they stunted or too early to tell???

Did someone tell you that they are stunted? They appear to have very good body shape. Look like some healthy fish to me. Did you get them from Mark?

YA, its from Mark. He is really a GREAT guy to deal with......I was just reading topic about stunted so i was wondering, how can u tell if they are stunted or not...

You can tell if a discus is stunted by it's eye to body ratio. It's sometimes hard to tell if a young discus is stunted.

Your discus don't look stunted at all IMO. They have very good shape and small eyes even at an early stage. Staying on top of water changes and feeding lots of small feedings throughout the day will ensure their development. You have some nice discus to work with so ask if your discus are stunted in about 3-4 months and we'll be able to tell.

Water quality and diet are vital.
